Solvent-based adhesives stick well to plastics that are affected by the solvent contained in them, which allows them to drop the plastic layer and evaporate while maintaining transparency. Glued materials: pmma (plexiglass polymethyl methacrylate) pc - polycarbonate ps hips and gpps - abs polystyrene - acrylobutyl styrene pvc - polyvinyl chloride (ATK PVC recommended for pipes) pet (after previous tests) Due to the harmfulness and volatility of the product, use only in ventilated rooms with an extractor and a protective mask - that's why we recommend using reactive but neutral adhesives such as CC 10-12 or even faster UV adhesives. Application: letters from pmma aquariums boxes stands stands stands statuettes User manual: 1. clean the surface, 2. if the edges have up to 0.1 gaps, use PMMA 4. By inserting the glue between the surfaces, it will "pull" between the two glued surfaces. 3. if the gap is larger, use PMMA 16, applying it to the surface and pressing it within 10-20 seconds. 4. Leave it to dry - initially about 5 minutes depending on the thickness of the adhesive and the possibility of evaporation, full 24 hours or more. Available glue versions: PMMA 4 - thin (like water - capillary action) PMMA 16 - thick (pouring honey consistency) Technical data: Initial setting time: approx. 5-15 min. (depends on the rate of evaporation, i.e. surface temperature, type of plexiglass) Full setting time: 24-72h. Application: syringe or bottle with a needle, pipette or THD dispensers Packaging: 520 g Additional information: Remember: - always perform tests on the new material to see if the strength is adequate, - microcracks appear during edge gluing (reduction is possible with ATK UV 16) - after gluing, always wait min. 24h to see the final effect - after applying the glue, the pressure must be as fast as possible, preferably in max. 10s. - glued elements should be put aside with air access so that the evaporating solvent does not damage the glued surfaces, - the most convenient application is pouring into a bottle with a needle
