Set for repairing broken threads in metals. Set includes 2 types of adhesives depending on the situation you have. Read the instructions below and watch the videos. How to repair a broken thread? - 4 options: 1. Whole thread - slightly worked - minimal loose connection (up to approx. 0.2 mm) This method is recommended for permanent screwing - later unscrewing after heating the surface. Clean the thread thoroughly with a degreaser and the screw you want to screw in. Wipe the surfaces with a wire brush in order to remove the last metal filings or loose pieces. Apply KEMISKOL V653 glue on the first two coils on one or the other surface and screw. 2. Thread completely worked - practically no coil holds - screwing permanently, clean the surface as in point. 1 additionally increase the gap preferably to 1 mm or more by grinding the surface and cross cuts on the thread and screw. mix KEMISPOX AL21 glue portions if you are gluing in aluminum or KEMISPOX FE21 if you have steel. apply the glue on the surface, rubbing it well so that it enters the slots and push the screw into the socket (the binding should be under pressure, so that the screw does not move and does not fall out, especially on ceiling surfaces - you can use a support or, in the case of small screws, use paper tape pressure - marking the joint. in the case of sticking to a horizontal surface - you can slightly heat the glue so that it becomes "liquid like honey" 3. Fully worked thread - restoring the entire socket, also with the possibility of later unscrewing (the most difficult way) prepare the surface as in point 1 lubricate the screw with dry Teflon grease or thick silicone grease (to protect the thread from sticking) apply the glue in small portions into the socket, rubbing it into the surface so that there is no air in the glue (in the case of heating as in point 2 it is not necessary) screw the screw into the socket and allow it to harden, unscrew the screw with a ready-made thread 4. Thread completely off bions - thread reconstruction clean surfaces as in point 1 apply the AL21 / FE21 glue to the entire socket in 3-5 layers so as not to leave air in the glue - by heating the glue - you simply pour the whole thing from the bottom. you leave the bonds you thread as in metal you screw in the screw itself, e.g. with a seal or permanently with V653 glue - thanks to which you can seal the connection immediately. The set includes: Anaerobic thread glue: KEMISKOL V653- 10g One of the two selected metal adhesives: KEMISKIT AL21 (aluminum) - 50 g (30 ml) package or KEMISKIT FE21 (iron) - 100 g (33 ml) package Degreaser for based on isopropanol 100 ml spray Mixing kit: Plastic washer, 4 sticks to put on, Spatula Good to know: Glue V653 - you use it on a slightly formed thread or also as a seal If you have an aluminum socket or a steel screw, choose the AL21 glue AL21 / FE21 adhesives then use when the gap per side is 0.5mm and the recommended gap is 1mm. The surface must always be clean and sanded to remove metal residues, filings, loose elements, etc. If you want to completely plug the screw, you can also successfully use FE21 or AL21. 3 or 4 you want to paste the screw, which is only to ensure tightness use KEMISKOL V032 or KEMISKOL T333 Before gluing, please refer to the technical sheet of the products.
