The version of the UV glue is most often used for gluing glass with glass and glass with metal. ATK UV20. Medium viscosity allows for gluing mating surfaces with a gap of less than 0.1 millimeter and less tightly fitted, especially gaps that occur when gluing with metals up to 1-1.5 mm. That is 90-95% of the applications. When joining glass with each other or with metals, the holding force is so great that it tears off pieces of glass. When bonding glass surfaces that do not transmit UV light, use Kemiskol L415 / 715 or ATK PU 16 with AP3 etchant. For connections that are constantly exposed to moisture (not water), the ATK UV35 version is recommended. The recommended adhesive is ATK UV35 due to its increased resistance to moisture and water. Application: automotive: e.g. repair of car windows made of glass, advertising: gluing stands, display cases, glass statuettes industry: gluing and repairing broken glass in machine covers, fasteners / hinges, etc. stucco / ornamentation: gluing glass elements of ornamentation, e.g. artificial diamonds The adhesives are characterized by: high strength short hardening time (depending on the material and lamp from 5-30 s) resistance to atmospheric and chemical conditions easy to dose color: perfectly transparent ATK UV20 - (formerly MEGA-UV-3) Viscosity: 2500 cPs. (pouring honey) Perfectly transparent, gap 0.03 - 1.5 mm Strength: 10-14 N / mm2 Temp. working: -55 -+120 degrees. Curing: UVA light Note: It is necessary to use UV light in order to properly cure the adhesive. Also remember to use eye protection glasses.
