The strongest UV glue for plexiglass and plastic derivatives ATK UV10 (formerly MEGAUV 10) Light-curing adhesives are used more and more often due to the speed and strength of gluing. These adhesives are used in all elements where one of the surfaces transmits UV light, because depending on the lamp and light transmittance, we can achieve durability even in 5 seconds. Due to the possibility of the adhesive reacting to daylight, we must remember about the time limit, but we still have time for possible positioning of the glued elements. It is a medium-dense version - pouring honey that allows for gluing even in sloping positions and filling gaps up to 1 mm. One of the few UV glues in the world, the outflow of which is not sticky, i.e. it is dry after full exposure to light. What do we gain? speed of work - saving time and reducing costs. Relief of the workplace several dozen times faster than with solvent adhesives. Application: statues, boxes, hangers, containers, filling of cavities and chippings. Glued materials: plexiglass (pmma) polycarbonate PC ps san pur pet abs transparent versions with other materials such as metals composites raw wood, varnished wood, plywood, mdf, veneer glass (more suitable UV 17) the above materials with raw metals and other materials. (see video) ATK UV # 10 light-curing adhesive Packaging: 50ml Color / color: Transparent Density: medium 3500 cPs Gap: 0.01-1 mm Ability to float / pour: Yes - dry flash is not sticky Curing: light-UVA range because gluing plexiglass is a vast topic and a multitude of applications, below is a short list of what and where to use: - gluing plexiglass by inserting ATK UV16 between the surfaces; if there is no light or even stronger gluing, CC 10-12 PCLR (joints always 100% transparent - gluing plexiglass fine gaps, defects, vertical surfaces ATK UV10, or CC 10-12 PHVCLR - gluing pc, pvc, ps matched surfaces ATK UV16 (connection 100% transparent) or cc 10-12 PCLR (joint whitening may occur, strength remains) - gluing polycarbonate, pvc, ps uneven surface ATKUV10 (transparent 100%); or stronger but with the possibility of a slight whitening CC 10- 12 PHVCLR - all transparent plastics on large gluing elements, such as aluminum strips, brackets, angle bars, etc., we use GB 10-05 / 10-10 or ATK 812 for a flexible joint - especially for large planes with a change in material expansion) Note: We recommend using our UV lamps and torches - which have been tested with our adhesives (see below) Remember: Of course, one of the surfaces must be transmissive to UV light (why does not have to be transparent? - UV light will penetrate even the milky plexiglass) If there is a possibility, the surface should be slightly roughened (always degreased).
