Glue for repairing polycarbonate glass for cracks and separate surfaces ATK UV Select the appropriate type of glue: ATK UV 10 - dense version (close-fitting surfaces and large gaps) ATK UV 16 - sparse version (folded surfaces, small bristles, butt gluing, one-time filling only each 0.5-1 mm thick) Detailed technical data for both versions can be found here. Quick instructions: slightly chamfer the crack, degrease the surface, if there is a gap and you have access from two sides, stick the paper tape so that the glue does not flow out during application, 2nd option: apply the glue in small portions and from immediately cure, at the end, add glue to level the surface, after applying the glue, you cure / irradiate for 5-20 s. in point, repair is complete - if you need to, you can polish the surface with small revolutions. If the material is very thin and you need to strengthen the crack, you have two options: either glue and pour CC 10-12 PHVCLR glue, which may become slightly milky at pc, or apart from butt gluing and filling the groove, glue a piece of pc or pmma to strengthen 1-2 cm wider than the crack (we use only for straight surfaces) The headlight and glass glue kit includes: Adhesive to choose from: ATK UV 10 or 16 - 50 ml Battery-operated 2W flashlight, isopropyl alcohol degreaser 100 ml. Tips: - Use Acralock CC 10-12 for maximum strength, however on PC a reaction may occur where the bond becomes milky but the strength remains. - when curing, point the flashlight at an angle from a distance of 2-3 cm so that the vapors do not hit the flashlight glass directly - remember about protective glasses and direct the light only at the place of curing the glue - The 2W flashlight cures the glue in 20-40 seconds, but if you do service, you should replace it with a 5W LED flashlight or a 10W LED halogen lamp.
