Colorless adhesive for repairing tarpaulins in PVC / PVC tent halls What can we glue? With this set we can repair: holes, cracks, tears, abrasions - regardless of the thickness of the material. The kit for gluing tent halls includes: ATK B170 adhesive - 200 ml Tarpaulin repair patch (dimensions 50x100 cm) Blue RAL 5002 or Gray RAL 7042 Degreaser based on isopropanol 250 ml 2x brush for applying glue 1x stiff pressure roller with ribs for better pressure Repair we will make a tent hall in a few steps: 1. If the tarpaulin is heavily soiled, pre-wash it by hand or, if possible, with a pressure washer, 2. Degrease the surface with a degreaser from the set, 3. In the case of tarpaulins older than 2-3 years, wipe from damage to 10cm, gently with sandpaper about 200-300 to remove the loose, degraded surface and degrease again, 4. Cut the patch about 5 cm larger on each side than the damage by rounding the corners, 5. Apply the glue evenly on two surfaces (the brush from the kit will be helpful) whose bristles can be cut in half) and wait 5 minutes. until it dries (remember to glue in positive temperatures; otherwise, heat two surfaces before applying the glue and heat with a heat gun after pressing) 6. Add a patch and press it down with a roller from the set 7. Ready (you will get full strength after 24h, but initially after 20 minutes Tips and Tricks: - if you can and want to speed up the bonding, you can dry the adhesive layer with a dryer / heat gun, which you will later use also when pressing the entire patch, heating the surface, - if the surface is completely dry, e.g. 30-50 minutes and you have not glued it, you can repeat the application process wait until the glue dries and sticks together.- Make sure that the glue surface is not stained while the glue is drying.- if you want to repair it in the rain, choose ATK 812 glue as an emergency repair.
