The ATK 812 adhesive is intended for sealing roof elements. Problem-free sealing of: firewalls, feathers, caulking parapets. A special sealing compound ensures proper strength and tightness. We seal: pvc roof membranes - cuts, cavities, etc. bituminous roofing skylights - contact points with the membrane, sheet metal, wall firewalls linear drainage and inlets PVC ventilation chimneys - connections with the membrane, roofing felt, sheet metal etc. ventilation inlets and air intakes made of PP! !! - necessary coat with ATK 822/8154 primer The adhesive replaces all old technological products from the list below: ordinary, acetic and acetic-free silicones, roofing silicones, polyurethane sealants, bituminous sealants, etc. Why ATK 812 is better than other products on the market? greater durability? physical from silicone and bituminous sealants 100% light fastness several times higher resistance to aging - most products are replaceable after 1-2 years because they either detach from the surface and do not ensure tightness or crack when exposed to direct sun does not harden and do not crack over time does not contain solvents does not contain harmful isocyanates as sealants on polyurethanes does not creep over time as silicones does not damage galvanized and painted surfaces such as acetic silicones does not cause corrosion can be applied vertically in ceiling positions directly from the tube or by applying with a Napr spatula awy also in wet conditions and in rain !!! Repair of a tear in the membrane: - wash the membrane with a "thicker" - cut and trace / mark the size of the patch so that it is 5-7 cm larger than the crack - rub the surface with sandpaper or a copper / brass brush to remove the old damaged layer (it is a slight rub roughening the surface and not making more holes) - degrease the whole with an alcohol or acetone degreaser - apply the ATK 812 glue line around it so that there are no gaps - put an adhesive line in the middle every 3-5 cm - if the surface is dry, lightly spray with water - apply the patch and press it in full - form the flash around as a grout by pressing it with a spatula (the point is that the whole thing should be 100% tight against any water) Repair of cracked roofing felt: - physically clean the surfaces of dirt, sand, etc. brush, blower, etc. - cut the tarpaulin patch 5-7 cm larger than the crack - outline the patch size on the roof - wipe the patch contour with a wire brush - preferably copper / brass to do not damage the surface and remove the remnants (it is about removing loose and weak elements) - on the roof surface - the so-called in the outline where it will be patched - apply the glue around so that there are no gaps - in the center, apply ATK 812 glue lines every 3-5 cm (in case of dry surfaces, sprinkle with water) - press the patch all the way - pull the resulting flush around with a spatula, press so as to make a bevel on the surface - as if we were grouting (the point is that the glue should secure the surface around it, so that the water cannot penetrate even to a minimal extent) - if the outflow is too small, apply an additional portion of ATK 812 When you buy the product, you will receive: ATK 812 glue - black color, packaging: 400g (standard silicone tube) Degreaser for removing dirt, degreasing the surface before sticking - 100 ml Primer for ATK 822 polyurethane adhesives - 500 ml Remember: when sticking the patch always round the corners with large patches single width of the adhesive after pressing should not be larger than 2-3 cm. Primer 822/8154 is especially used for roofs with PVC membranes, there are also 200 ml spray versions. It is recommended to rub it with sandpaper to remove the old layer, separators or varnishes.
