Geomembrane welding machine

Welding machines for PE insulation films, i.e. geomembranes, are specific devices due to the material they have to weld. Why? PEHD, i.e. hard polyethylene, when heated, needs a very high pressure in order to connect with each other. As with other materials, such as PVC, it is enough to press several dozen kilograms, while with HDPE it is from 100 to 150 kg. Preparation of the substrate and geomembrane for work: The substrate should be compacted in accordance with the constructor's recommendations, taking into account water pressure and additional loading elements such as concrete slopes, the bottom covered with gravel, etc. In places of welding, both sides of the foil should be clean and dry, free from dirt, stones, etc. . Instructions for welding PEHD geomembrane You basically need two pieces of equipment and the choice is very simple. For straight sections you use BOSITE F1 and for all flashings, culverts, corrections: the BOSITE 5001 extruder. Unwind the foil from the roll before welding, so as not to leave it for a long time, so that there is no additional dirt and displacement, especially under the influence of wind. You put the foils in the trench with an overlap of about 10 cm and weld F1. All depressions and bevels are cut to size with the previous overlap. You do not have to stick to these dimensions perfectly, 2-3 cm are tolerance to take over. If you don't get stuck somewhere, don't worry! That's what you got the extruder for. After all the works, it's time for any corrections and making holes, for example for pipes, fireplaces, etc. For all this, and even for cuts, you use an extruder on the basis of applying an additional patch, which you weld around. If you have made a mistake and the weld is not tight in a straight line, then you throw in the mass so that it seals the whole thing. What is the difference between PE, PEHD and HDPE? This is exactly the same material, it tells us that it is a hard polyethylene (high destinity) of high density. Although the order is important when recognizing the markings, it is an exception in the case of this material. Sometimes we also mark PE-HD and vice versa with a hyphen in the middle. So, as many as 5 markings of the same material. Where do we use PEHD insulation and why? Due to increasingly stringent environmental protection standards, all contaminated water should be stored in a controlled manner and impermeable to the soil or directed to a sewage treatment plant. That is why all landfills, retention reservoirs, retention reservoirs, equalizing reservoirs, and even road rainwater evaporation tanks must be lined with foil insulation. A separate topic is construction foils for small objects, where we protect the wall and other foundations from groundwater. PEHD geomembrane is most often chosen for small and medium-sized tanks due to the price and durability, because if you wanted to use PVC, the thickness of the material would have to be twice as thick, so in the end this material is adopted in such works. If you are looking for pvc insulation films, then most likely you mean roofing membranes, then go to the appropriate sub-category. If you want to undergo training in foil welding, we also do it on the above-mentioned equipment.
