Thermal knife for plastics

The AT-100 thermal knife can be used for multitasking, but not continuous work (then we have to choose a knife with a higher power). The thermal knife presented in this guide has a power of 100 W. It also has a power adjustment and 2.5 cm and 5 cm blades. Mounting the blade is trivial, anyone can handle it without any problem.

The temperature is regulated by a specially located knob. Until the red lamp lights up - the power is appropriate for the blade. The preferred substrate for cutting is a hard substrate, one that is heat resistant.

In our test, we cut several types of material. These were strings, tapes, strings, ropes and other plastics. It does not matter whether the materials are narrow or wide - different blade widths come to our aid.

If we use a knife for home use - the 100 W version is enough. There is also a model with more power available on the market, such as 150, 200 or even 250 W.

For continuous work, the best solution is the knife that we will discuss shortly, the P1 model.

 

The multi-purpose knife is very good at dealing with different materials.
