PPS

PPS plastic (chemically known as polyphenylene sulfide) is a semi-crystalline, high temperature thermoplastic polymer. Due to its structure, PPS is a very chemically resistant polymer with very good mechanical strength, even at temperatures above 200 ° C. In addition to low water absorption, PPS also has good dimensional stability and excellent electrical properties. PPS thermoplastic is chemically very stable, even at high temperatures. Thus, the advantages of PPS plastics include high purity and crystallinity, good electrical insulation, high mechanical and chemical strength, excellent high temperature resistance and dimensional stability over a wide range of temperatures and humidity levels. In this category, you will find PPS binders for welding parts and elements made of this material. Particular attention should be paid to distinguishing the PPS marking from PPs, i.e. polypropylene with the addition of non-flammability. They are two completely different materials.
