Specialist rubber primer Surface promoter for priming - increasing adhesion to rubber surfaces. For non-reactive adhesives. The primer dries quickly and is transparent with a slight yellowish tinge. It is enough to wipe the surfaces with a brush or spray and wait until dry. In the case of a roughened surface, the drying time may be extended to approx. 10 minutes, depending on the application temperature. What rubbers do we use for? SBR - Styrene-butadiene rubber NBR - acrylonitrile-butadiene rubber EPDM - synthetic rubber CR - chloroprene rubber BR - butyl rubber NR - natural rubber PUR - polyurethane PVC - polyvinyl chloride neoprene - we do not use for silicone rubbers! For which adhesives: polyurethane urethane epoxy polymer (e.g. ATK 812 type) Application: This primer is used on a prepared rubber surface, i.e. sanded and degreased. We apply with a brush, cotton pad, spray or immersion and leave to dry for at least 5 minutes. After this time, we glue or paint. Available packages: 5 ml 200 ml It is worth remembering and knowing: before the actual glue, make a test on an unnecessary material / or a place that is hardly visible adhesion to the surface with and without the rubber surface should be at least matted with sandpaper, however, it is recommended to wipe with a cutter or other stone, which in places primer and subsequent gluing will debur and remove the first oxide layer. We do not use reactive adhesives such as cyanoacrylate or solvent adhesives, eg ATK 901
