MAPP gas burners

RTM is our brand for DIY, hobby and company gas products and repair shops. MAP gas burners allow for higher temperatures than standard propane butane burners. Temperature fluctuations of 1200 and 2000 degrees allow for faster heating of the element. An additional advantage is the lack of impurities depositing on the surface during heating. The difference is still visible in the aspect of handiness, because we work with 400 ml cylinders, which are enough for 2 hours of soldering or heating the material and there is no need to operate large cylinders as in the case of acetylene. We use them most often: In car workshops for soldering air-conditioning pipes and other metal cables, and for unscrewing seized bolts and nuts. In sheet metal work for covering masks, sides and other sheet metal elements with tin. In installation companies for brazing copper and brass tubing with soft solder. In air conditioning services for repair of aluminum and copper coolers. The available burners are screwed directly onto the cylinder with a magneto, like RTM-027 or without RTM-1, but also with a hose, like RTM-1660. What is MAP gas? It is a special, pure, high-calorific gas, thanks to which we obtain high temperature and thus efficiency, i.e. heating speed. Where can you buy it? All cylinders are 400 g, and can be bought even in supermarkets, but due to the fact that we source directly from the manufacturer, we have a very attractive price. The outlet is 1 inch. Can aluminum be soldered? Yes, we have 3 types of binders depending on the thickness of the element and the type of damage. What about soldering stainless steel - is it possible? Yes, we have recently had a special super-alloy wire that can be used to solder stainless steel and chrome-nickel - only heating the damaged surface.
